What if the earth suddenly stopped spinning? |
The earth revolves around its axis, and because of that, the day and night happens, the weather stabilizes and many similar things happen. But what if the earth suddenly stopped spinning?
It is obvious that such an event means the end of the world, and it will
not happen in the next billion years. But when such a disaster occurs, not only
humans will be destroyed, but all forms of life, including microscopic ones.
A sudden halt to the Earth at 1674 kilometers per hour will not pass
unnoticed. In this case, everyone needs to tie the belts although this will not
be useful because stopping the earth from rotation will make everything moving
on it fly into space!
This landfall will cause a huge hurricane because the Earth's atmosphere
is rotating at the same speed as the planet, so the strong wind that will blow
after the earth's interruption will pull everyone out, including those who have
successfully secured their seatbelts!
There will also be a global tsunami that will cause devastating
hurricanes that will wipe away all, while the big cities will have to bid
farewell to both the sea.
Of course, earthquakes will not stand aside on such a grand occasion,
and they will sweep all over the earth with incredible power, unimaginable.
As a result of the sudden change in the speed of the wind, the fires
will spread rapidly and practically everything that did not sink will burn.
Of course, the GPS system will not be the biggest problem for survivors
on a planet without gravity. It will not be possible to rely on this system,
which means that the planes are diverted from their tracks and there are a
large number of car accidents.
The collision with the moon, which is gradually moving away from Earth
when it stops spinning, will be unavoidable. Our artificial satellites will
gradually begin to approach the planet and will be destroyed for a long time or
a short time but after a few million years.
Today it will be a year-long, and this is little compared to other
natural disasters. When the earth stops, the sun will shine on the hemispheres
for 6 consecutive months. The daytime heat will become tropical, and the night
cooler will polarize.
The sun's break from the planet will continue until the dust settles,
but that means winter's long years around the world, which in one way or
another will lead to much trouble.
The Earth, in its current shape with its northern and southern poles, rotates
around its axis. If it stops, everything is likely to turn into a flat surface,
adding many disasters.
